Being a support provider of neurodivergent individuals like Autism, ADHD, or Intellectual Disabilities who also exhibit challenging behavior can be difficult and stressful. The first step in dealing with stress is to identify the stressors that affect both you and the person you support.
The second step is to learn how to accept the stress and live a life that is in sync with your values. You can start to accomplish that with some simple mindfulness exercise like the "Mindful Pause" or "Dropping Anchor." I will be discussing those in my Moving Beyond Meltdowns newsletter.

First comes awareness then comes acceptance. So to help with your awareness I have put together some free short stress and stressors checklist. Click HERE to get the free checklists
